WHO AM I?!?!
My names Alexis, thanks for stopping by. My Tumblr is basically just an amalgamation of fandoms i'm part of, and just things I like in general :) Feel free to drop an ask, or just hang out if you want. My fandoms frequently change, and i'm always open to new suggestions! I try to respond to any messages, but since i'm usually on mobile, I don't get much of a chance to check my inbox.
WHAT DO I LIKE?!?!
Food, Traveling, Landscapes, and many fandom things. Right now I'm mainly stalking the tags for anything Once Upon A Time, Harry Potter, Johnny Depp, Doctor Who, David Tennant related.

I don’t appreciate the fan in the bathroom for being a fan. I appreciate it for being a noise maker.

Tantallon Castle, North Berwick, Scotland

Tantallon Castle, North Berwick, Scotland by Baz Richardson
Via Flickr:
Tantallon Castle is a semi-ruined mid-14th-century fortress which sits on a promontory opposite the Bass Rock in the outer part of the Firth of Forth. The last medieval curtain wall castle to be constructed in Scotland, Tantallon comprises a single wall blocking off the headland, with the other three sides naturally protected by sea cliffs. Tantallon was besieged by King James IV in 1491, and again by his successor James V in 1528, when extensive damage was done. Tantallon saw action in the First Bishops’ War in 1639, and again during Oliver Cromwell’s invasion of Scotland in 1651, when it was once more severely damaged. It was sold by the Marquis of Douglas in 1699 to Hew Dalrymple, Lord North Berwick and the ruin is today in the care of Historic Scotland. Seen behind the ruined castle, Bass Rock is an island over a mile offshore. It is three miles north-east of North Berwick and is a steep-sided volcanic rock, 351 ft above sea level at its highest point. It is home to a large colony of gannets, many hundreds of which seem to be continually in the air, circling the rock. These are the tiny white dots seen in the picture.
